Heavenlyby TurbotechComment by FranziskaLang: have you ever tried vanilla soymilk mixed with orange juice? sounds gross but is actually really yummy. anyhow. your photo definitely meets the challenge. i like the beam on the soymilk bottle, definitely focuses your attention, even though the beam is just a little more overexposed than i would like. overall, i think you did well achieving that heavenly feeling, great color for the background, and good arrangements of objects in your shot. i wish the background did have a few less creases (noticeable on the right). overall, a good submission :) |

Heavenlyby TurbotechComment by justine: I love Silk......good stuff. Clever lighting and I think it works. The focus on the cookies is a bit soft. 100% on topic for the challenge. |

Heavenlyby TurbotechComment by inspzil: Very nice pic. You will get a good score, but the thing that bothers me most about this pic is the backdrop cloth is wrinkled. I may have tried to backlight the cup a little, just enough so it doesn't seem shadowed. But this is a great idea and by no means poorly taken. - Inspzil |

Stand Tallby TurbotechComment by timj351: One word, polarizer filter. This is a classic example of where a polarizer filter would have significantly helped to keep the sky blue while maintaining the proper exposure on the rest of the photo. Without the filter you could have helped this photo by underexposing abput 1 stop and then making further adjustments in the individual color channels. It is still a very nice photo. I like the symmetrical composition but I would have centered the building horizontally, as well, so that it didn't crowd the bottom edge. This scene clearly presents a difficult lighting situation. A different time of day with different lighting would probably help to get more light into the trees on the right side. 7 -T |

Stand Tallby TurbotechComment by DougPaz: Nice framing and composition. I just have a bit of a problem that your main focal point is so faded out. |
