Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment by Alain: Congrats Caleb on your first ribbon.
This makes on more picture scoring in the 7s for the DMC-FZ20, way to go.
Great pic by the way. |

Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment by Pug-H: There's a festival in Kumamoto, Japan, where you can do the same thing with bundles of straw - but the rope is shorter than what yours appears to be. (And it gets really warm...) |

Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment by CEJ: Nice shot but clearly doesn't look like a 2 second shot. And funny that you didn't post your shutter speed. If it isn't a 2 second exposure, should not have ribboned and is a real slap in the face to those that made the honest effort to get a 2 second exposure. Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment by doctornick: No rules were broken and the photo looks like it could have been a 2 sec exposure. Period. Let's move on. |

Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment by kenskid: GREAT SHOT...however, I do agree with the rest. If this is not a 2 second exposure then it should not have been entered. I scored entries by KNOWING how hard a 2 sec shot is to master. I don't think it is fair to the others that used a 2 second exposure.

If you don't want to post it took you 7 minutes to get the shot you don't have to. Or you can if you want... they can't take your ribbon away from you. Once again great job and I like how you gave credit to this being a tribute! |
