Not To Be So Depressive by sahkoComment by MrYu: Nice picture, but i wouldn't think of depression had i not seen the title... Composition-wise, i would move the camera slightly to the left. The lady should be the center [not literally in the center] of the composition, and she is not. |

Not To Be So Depressive by sahkoComment by Kathryn8: Very interesting idea, I like the tones and subject matter. Well rendered...except for the pillar the person is leaning on....for me if something that should be horizontal or vertical isn't....that is all I see. |

Not To Be So Depressive by sahkoComment by Cantique: Great dark image. I love the minimalist use of color and the dark tones. Also that the woman's face and hand are the brightest things in this image. |

Old ladyby sahkoComment by snackwells: In a field of strong contenders, this amazing capture surfaces resoundingly as a forerunner for the ribbon. :-) What strikes me most about this image is the steel and brightness in her eyes, and that's what makes a truly great portrait.
Wonderful details, tonal range, DOF, framing and composition. 10

Not To Be So Depressive by sahkoComment by ExoticChaos: I love this photo, it portrays what you are trying to convey well. Not sure about the girls pose though, I think if she was looking down or had her eyes closed it would help with the overall sadness. |

Old ladyby sahkoComment by NovaTiger: Whoa. As the picture was loading so I could rate it, saw gray/white hair and thought "yeah, looks like an old lady's hair" but then it got to the skin (you know how it loads from top to bottom) and I say what I thought was..I don't know...silver makeup? Don't ask. Anyway. I just thought that black and white was a cool choice for this photo. |
