Thank you for sharing the picture and the story. It is rather quirky - and I love it - the quirkier the better in my opinion.

Art is the best therapy I think - you can express and feel through the process of creating and then look back at the finished piece and see how strong you really are and how much you've grown as a result of the struggle.

My grandmother had macular degeneration as well and she struggled with how much it took away from her. She eventually passed from cancer, but the loss of vision took away her freedom.
