Hmmm... personally, I'm petrified of motorcycles, but I'm glad to see the helmets in place. Kansas (shockingly) does not have a helmet law. It's insane.

On further 'research', this looks like it may be a Calliandra haematocephala - Red Powder Puff. In the 'mimosa' family, but not the same genus. More info below if interested:
