Ghostly, ethereal, surreal, lovely. The tones you've achieved are splendid, and you processed the rays perfectly. They're visible but retail their ephemeral quality. I like how all the birds are heading in the same direction, although it might have been more visually interesting to have them in a less structured arrangement - something over which you had no control. Just musing.

This one works so much better for me, as there is a human element. The position of the jogger is perfect. Directly under the sun. The tilt here I feel adds to the composition and isn't just gratuitous tilting to meet the challenge.

Since Janine and myself are offering opposite opinions I thought I'd come back to this. I'll be honest, the tilt of this makes me actually feel quite dizzy.

How about if you tilted it a little less?

For me the tilt should add to the composition of the image and this really doesn't do it for me. It's just tilted to meet the challenge (from what I can see).

Sorry for the straight up talking, but I think you prefer that. Don't get me wrong, the technicals are wonderful and I look forward to seeing a similar image without any tilt!
