once there was a heart I brokeby AliciaComment by roz: ps .. wot is particularly appealing to me is the way you've created that very large border .. it seems like we're looking at her thru a window .. possibly in one of those very old buildings in a village in italy or tuscany or something ... i've never been there, but its wot came to mind ..
the old stone building feeling .. the woman .. even in her modern attire she still seems to have an old fashioned quality about her .. possibly the hair .. and even with those modern signs, this entire image has that 'back in time' feel .. obviously your processing, with the border and the overlay .. bloody brilliant .. :)x.
anyhooooooo .. just thought i'd 'voice' wot i was thinking .. :) |

Dragon Treeby AliciaComment by zeuszen: Remarkable indeed. The island of Socotra (the source of incense for ancient Egypt) has the greatest concentration of this tree on earth. Its resin was and still is used as a sinecure, paint, incense and varnish in several cultures. Here's more. |

Dragon Treeby AliciaComment by undieyatch: A remarkable tree - I like the crown of blooms which float at the top of this amazing plant.
I had to find more on "The Del" and found this link - Hotel del Coronado - ouch, a resort, with rooms starting at Two Ninety Five a nite. Nice place though.

Dragon Treeby AliciaComment by Stiger: Very interesting. When I first saw the photo, I thought it was a macro of something. Didn't think it was some full-sized oddity. And what is along the top of the branches? It looks like ice, but I highly doubt that's what it is this time of year in CA. :) |
