On DPC we get to see a lot of flower shots and sometimes despute their beauty they get a bit samey...This on the other hand is something very different and very beautiful

I love the high key and the muted colours and the sharpness of the petal veins and the 'hairs' on the underside of the flower are amazing

What a way to celebrate you selection as photographer of the week - I bet your mum loves this one
