I think the book in the foreground is too bright - maybe better to turn it away from the sun a bit more and use shallower DOF to deemphasize it. Also, for me at least, the tilted horizon is very un-relaxing. I like the concept, though.

That's what summer is all about. My only criticism, your horizon isn't level so I would have cropped it slightly anti-clockwise.

I'm jealous of the relaxation, but the photograph leaves a bit to be desired. Focus is soft, and the composition seems crowded and tilted.

I think a good landscape shot would have worked better. The book and leg give it great depth, but it takes away from the overall photo.
