Love the colours. The red chair ripped to shreds, the white couch stained and rotting, the new green looking healthy and innocent. Nature sure is dynamic, and this speaks volumes of the personal havoc, and resulting human desolation, at nature's fury. Great pic. |

My Downtownby Shan2112Comment by blindjustice: Nice composition; the lightpost and wretahs brighten up this otherwise wet and gloomy scene. The roads look wet, but there is so much great color and detail you have captured that winter cold holidayesque feel. I took the liberty of running it through ps watercolor; its only in my workshop but I put the link here.  |

I Miss The Family Roomby Shan2112Comment by pineapple: Yes, a bit desolate indeed. It does evoke that feeling and captures the literal meaning. The colours do not work against the desolation as they do in many of the other images entered in this challenge. |
