Lovely desat here. You did a very good job with the colors (well, more the erasement of them), leaving the pinky shoes as the lonely color. Light is OK for me. The focus and DOF is nice.
I'm not sure, but maybe you could achieve more contrast using levels: you could make all the photo darker (even loosing a bit of BG) to make the details to appear. Try it (if you want, of course). If you need more explanation from me just ask.

The focus and DOF is OK, but I thimk Rikki is right, too busy. Too many places want to catch my attention at the same time. Try it again with less. It's easy, you make the phot with ll, then eat one and try, then another one... till none is left...
