Basillicaby ronnytComment by puzzled: Wonderful leading lines and what a gorgeous building! There seems to be a lot of post-processing here - I can't decide if I like that or not, hmmm. I guess I would prefer a bit less post-processing. Otherwise though, I like this image very much for the reasons stated above. Good luck with the challenge! |

Basillicaby ronnytComment by Jutilda: I like the artful approach. The first thing that jumps out to me is the tilt. It is blatantly tilted to the right and that really hurts it for me. I love the rich tones of black and golden brown. Nice detailing on the brick path and the church itself. The blackened trees work as well. |

bike jumpby ronnytComment by xianart: a ggod snap, but if it was cropped much tighter, to get rid of hte ramp and the onlooker, it would be a much better shot. |

bike jumpby ronnytComment by gloda: The trees make your background too busy. With this kind of picture, backgrounds are something you need to pay particular attention to. It seems you used flash, which was a good choice. Nonetheless a faster exposure would have been necessary. 5. |

Thirst for Knowledgeby ronnytComment by espy2: I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
This is ok, but children and candids go hand in hand really. No big wow factors for me. I could have gotten a million of them this week with my own son, but I prefer with an actual candid challenge to step out of the comfort zone. I gave this photo a 3. It's cute, but just ok. |

Thirst for Knowledgeby ronnytComment by melismatica: Fun, quirky angle and great capture of her expression. Her crazy hat adds interest and a bit of framing, as well as blocking out a potentially distracting background. I'll forgive the hokey title. |
