We saw quite a few 'levels' and bubbles in this challenge. This, by far, takes the cake. Top shot. The concept made the difference and the colour, angle etc just sell the image so well. I learned a lot from this. Thanks

I realized shortly after the contest began that I had not followed the challenge rules. I emailed SC and asked for my image to be disqualified. I also posted this thread in the forums:

I was told by several members of SC, in this thread and in emails, that not meeting the challenge rules was not grounds for disqualification.

Bear is correct. The image being commented on came 4th in the challenge. Surely this can't be correct? I know the rules say that you can't be disqualified for not meeting the challenge, but this really goes beyond that. It means that a place has been denied to someone who has followed the challenge brief - doesn't seem very fair.
