A technical success, it's less than successful in an artistic sense. DOF control is on the edge of being good and the lighting isn't over done creating blooms. The subject is less than interesting. Perhaps a different background with a slightly different angle would have helped. A little more thought and better framing would have brought the rating higher.

I really like this picture! I like how there is a contrast between the red of the apple and the silvery color of the tacks. It makes the tacks look almost like crystal! :D The only thing I would have done differently was maybe have had a black background, but as it is, the gray works fine.

one other did this same idea but with pencils...I like your zipper better but your colors don't "pop" as much...but an excellent execution
