I love the contrast between the soft material and the shiny metal. I wish it was a little more illuminated, seems a little dark. I personally would've cropped out the black background and made it more of a closeup! :)

I like the idea but I think you could have displayed your hobby better. It̢۪s supposed to be fun and yet you have represented it as a dark, mechanical, a necessary labor. If you love your hobby then it would show better in color with a beautiful cloth pattern and maybe even your hands at work holding the cloth as you quilt. Just my opinion!

The very black background ( a background?). doesn't do your subject justice. Because there is no difference between the near and far, the ground/base and background, it gives the appearance of the basket floating in space.
