Cute... I would have zoomed a little closer and tried to get a less busy background, also the window reflection is bothersome, and the little guy is very centered which is not usually desirable in photography. Cute character though!

Needs to be in better focus. The yellow background is a nice touch. With a subject as generic and over-photographed as a flower you really need some unique perspective or way of presenting it that will make it unique and special. The framing and angle and composition here don't make it start apart, so you need to take a more creative approach. 1 wingy

I like the background color, how shot was set up etc.. However, when I think of macro/close-up, I think of crisp, detailed pics.

Cute little flower. Would need more focus. Also this shot needs more lighting ... you can use a brighter light source or brighten it up using Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (I had to do this for my Technology entry). Jacko.
