I didn't vote in the cellphone challenge because... well... it's a *CELLPHONE* challenge!! Cabbage is more interesting.

You said this was a "last minute submit" but you still checked the box for a full critique. That doesn't seem fair.

That being said, this isn't a bad shot. You are very close on the face, which is contorted by extreme (fake, but extreme) emotion, that plus the narrow DOF, plus the odd framing of the two cellphones, plus the unflattering lighting creates a grotesque effect. One wants to look away, but cannot. The result (in my case) is amusement. You would have gotten a 6 or 7 from me. Probably a 7 since the competition was not good.
