Fluffy Lemon Cup & Spicy Pumpkin Breadby jab119Comment by faidoi: Great depth of field. The green glass really adds a great touch of color to the shot and helps the main subject pop out of the shot. I like how you were able to capture the shadows of the cream , gives it fluffiness. I also like how you sprinkled the powder sugar(?) in on the plate . |

Looking to the skyby jab119Comment by mavigadol: good one, maybe just a white very soft light would show more texture on the observatory surface, very soft shadows, just enough to make it REALLY good. and a few stars would help :) |

Looking to the skyby jab119Comment by Rooster: is that a telescope? It's hard to tell. good idea though. Could perhaps use some cropping and less distraction from what's in the foreground. |

Looking to the skyby jab119Comment by Ten13: I'm not sure if it's my monitor or not, other images seem fine, but this one seems a tad dark. I upped the brightness to see it better. This is my favorite so far, I just wish it was a little more exposed. It also looks a bit oversharpened (telescope is jagged). Like I said, it's my fave, so a ten from me if it were brighter. So I'm giving it a 9. Good luck. |

The gratuitous cat shotby jab119Comment by Neuferland: And what a cutie he/she is! Mine do the same thing, hide in the basket and then you wonder why it's so heavy when you pick it up! :)
As for the shot, at first it threw me, not exactly sure why, maybe the way the clothes are wrapped around the cat and kinda wirl around in the shot. If you could have gotten the cat to look directly at you the shot would be close to perfect but again, I know how difficult that can be! Also if the cat wasn't quite so centered I would like it more, a little bit more cropping on the right side, then you wouldn't lose the wirl and flow of the shot. I'm starting with a 6 on this one but will be back to look at it again. |
