I was drawn to the thumb of this one...To my eye, it's too cluttered. I see a lot going on. My eye wanders from the instruments to the guys to the guitar case to the (too bright) wall on the right to the microphone.

I'm not a fan of the color in this one. Composition is good, with a foreground subject, even horizon, etc (although there's not much there to really "be" a subject.) Other than the tone, I think this is fine technically. This is a thought out shot that seems to appeal to other commentors, but I'm just not crazy 'bout it.

Nice blue sky. Vivid colors and really sharp. This is the kind of picture I expect to bring back when I go on a trip. Well done.

This is an okay snapshot. Technically it appears fine, but the composition strikes me as simply a quick tourist type snap. It's fine for an "I was here" type of photo to have. I think the reason it appears that way is that there is too much going on - two buildings, the foreground tree, the people. A composition with a focus more in one area would be helpful I think. Hope that helps! :)

I think this is a nice catch of some street musicians. I like how they aren't looking at you at all...gives the more candid appeal. BW is probably a good choice for this, as the background lines are rather busy looking, but I'd still like to see it in color as well.

A really nice nature shot, but it makes you wonder - why are the mozzies biting the mushrooms? And how will the mushroom scratch themselves? ;>þ

With the upcoming silhouette challenge, I would say the middle one would do best - if you include the feet. ;>þ

Is this color effect from using a filter or is from post-processing? Just curious. You've picked a good image to apply this effect to, I could see other hues used as well (blue, sepia), even B/W might work.

Good eye to see this shot and a nice POV you've used to compose it.

This image has some interesting lines. It's almost like the image is two parts with a cool background being made up of the green moss and the (wonderfully blurred by DOF) grey rock (it is a rock isn't it?) consisting of the "canvas", and then part 2 is the mushrooms. The mushrooms feel 3D-ish because they jump off of the "canvas".

Funny, I've NEVER used the word canvas to describe an image at DPC, and I'm coming up on 2 years now. Just feels right for this image. ;^)

Smile and keep having fun!!!

Nice costume, when I first looked at it, I did think Jack was holding a stick or a sword, but I realized quickly that it was a crack in the concrete.
