Day 2 - Street at Sunsetby Bruce_the_RobertComment by philup: I really think think in the edit version you can bring most of the shadow out. The sky looks great as is but I'm sure you can edit it to make it look WOW. Can't wait to see the edit version. |

Day 2 - Street at Sunsetby Bruce_the_RobertComment by roz: rob... absolutely fantastic colours in this photograph .. and love the darkness and that yellow window in the middle left of the shot ... excellent sort of shadowy look on the road ......i dont mind the wires, but in a shot like this with those clouds you'd have a pretty easy time cloning them out if you wanted to .. its when you've got a clear sky with a gradient from dark to light that it becomes very difficult .. in fact i've tried and never succeeded!!! ... i'm sure ppl with more knowledge would be able to educate us on that ...
edit .. had another look and the power lines in the trees might be a bit difficult ... i recently used the 'spot healing brush tool' to get rid of power lines but it might be a bit difficult with the branches ... you'd have to zoom right in and work on a very highly magnified area i'd say if you were cloning ... Day 2 - Street at Sunsetby Bruce_the_RobertComment by Alicia: Hey, this is not bad at all. It has atmosphere and interesting colors. I like the light spill on the street. It will be very interesting to see what an edit will turn this photo into. I'm with Melethia on the wires, by the way. Since they are everywhere, I try to make them work instead of cloning them out. This is an urban shot, so they wouldn't be out of place. IMO :o) |

Day 2 - Street at Sunsetby Bruce_the_RobertComment by Melethia: Maybe it's just me, but I tend to leave powerlines in my pictures. I mean, they're THERE. Besides, they're a royal pain in the patootie to clone out, especially with trees involved. Learn to embrace the power lines. Well, not physically, of course, because that could be a real shocker. But seriously, consider just leaving them there! |
