It is what it is, and you did succeed in bringing him out more. I do kinda like the flower boxes of the original, but this crop works, too.

edit... image was too small ... interesting, coz other ppl have edited my images in dpc .. wonder why it didnt work ...

Very nice edit for this image! Great color combo, and the edges fading bring the center subjects right out front of the deep blue.

A lovely edit! To start, the crop is very nice and I like that you left the foreground reeds in the frame. The processing really makes the swans radiant - they have a nice sort of glow to them - and you still have very good detail in the feathers. Very nice work!
