Technically
A good shot, could have had a shallower DOF and blurred the bg which does not add or take away anything of the picture.

Composition is good, I like the way it makes me feel like I am on the ground too. Good contact with the eyes. I like this in black and white, My only complaint is I would have liked to have seen just a little more of the skateboard.

Fantastic action capture, and you have the eyes perfectly. I love the choice of black and white, brings out the contrast. I wonder if a short DOF would take focus away from the background and keep it on the skater. Great shot!

Looking at this photo, you have to question whether or not this is posed or an actual action shot. If it is an action shot, it does not really come across in this photo. Nice try.

The composition is interesting and fairly well executed. The lighting seems a little hard, though. As far as impact, this seems to just scratch the surface of pi and doesn't offer any further depth. But, there does seem to be a story here, perhaps of a grade school student working on their geometry homework.

Nice balance of objects. The saturation is a little distracting. Maybe would be better with some subdued false tones. The light is also a little flat. Try some diffused lighting off to one side, and not so bright.
