Up you go Then.!!by roscoComment by Longreach: This image placed me in the event - not merely had me as an observer with my head bent backward. Even the angle of the ladder (planned or accident) contributed to my physical response to this image. I liked it |

The Meetingby roscoComment by LeeD: **Critique Club**
Initial Impression: Funny image that falls a little flat.
Detailed analysis: Although this image does meet the challenge very well IMHO, there are a couple of things that could help it do better. As the others stated, the lighting is a little flat. It appears as though it was raining at the time you took this photo which could account for the flat lighting (overcast skies). I think you could probably adjust the hue/saturation and contrast to help add more interest. The position of the crow in relation to the pelican on the right is rather unfortunate. It almost appears as if there is something wrong with the pelicans head. The crow is not very obvious. A slightly different angle would probably eliminate this particular problem and help better differentiate the three birds. I love the title and your explanation of the situation in the comments.
Overall Impression: Pretty good shot that needs some minor tweaking. A little more patience in the composition and some post-processing would help this a lot. |

On the Lineby roscoComment by rosco: This was taken on the main northern line in Wyong Nsw Australia. I had to be quick to avoid being splattered by one of the many trains that use this line. The lengths one goes to enter a photo competition,,HA HA |
