He's in Thereby AnachroniteComment by Swashbuckler: O.K. my old eyes aren't THAT good, but I'll just take your word that there is a person in one of those windows. Framing is O.K, but I think you might want to crop the right edge a smidge, to remove the street light on yellow. The sky is blown out, but I'm assuming it was partly cloudy and you couldn't do much with that (the sun shining on the building makes me question my last comment.) Focus is O.K., but due to the distances, the straight lines of the building come out a little jagged (esp. the white trim). 6 Swash |

When it Rains, Wear a Raincoatby AnachroniteComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by Anachronite: oh and, yes I am embarrassed |
So you're not going to upload a HiRes TIFF to the print galleries?
Seriously, so much depends on context. If you prepped that as a poster with the same caption it would not seem too out of place in a STD or family planning clinic, now would it? |

He's in Thereby AnachroniteComment by kiwiness: Difficult! So where is he? I see you cropped out the street level making it difficult to see anyone down there. He could be in one of the windows but it is hard trying to make anyone out in them. The only thing I did find is a face of a man on the wall of the white building just to the left of the center of this photo. Is that Waldo? |

When it Rains, Wear a Raincoatby AnachroniteComment by emorgan49: Did you ever play Hearts as a kid, the card game. When it looks like you are getting a poor score you try to "Shoot the Moon" which means you try to get ALL the bad points. If you get every one, they turn positive and you win. Looks like you were shooting the moon.
PS _ I had to write a long review of andres Condom photo, I'm glad I didn't pull this one too... |

Trumpting in the Moonby AnachroniteComment by johnny_justjohnny: fantastic lighting, crop is good too. just a little pixellated though, this picture's kind of a good argument for shooting with negetives working the enlarger.
this looks like a great subject for shooting a series at different times of day. |
