Day-11-re-edit.jpgby KenComment by roz: WOW .. this is my favourite process .. so soft and dreamy and totally beautiful .. the colours are stunning too .. a beautiful scene so artistically handled ... PERFECT .. this to me is way better than the HDR etc process .. i use noise ninja to get the effect you have with this one .. but i might try the blur/multiply route .. this is BRILLIANT !!.. |

Day-12.jpgby KenComment by roz: thats a most unusual bridge .. i dont think i've ever seen one like this except in dpc!!! .... sounds like you had a blast .. i bet some of those bridges would'v made the best photographic subjects .. shame about it being dark .. & tripods can be a pain .. no-one wants to wait while you set it up etc .. i have to be real quick taking photographs if i'm not alone ... seeing this photograph of yours has inspired me to try and find some bridges .. not to cross but to shoot !!:) |

Day-11.jpgby KenComment by SandyP: Oh, this is awesome! What a beautiful scene. I'm anxious to see more of your pictures from the weekend. The perspective looking up at that bridge is so striking. I think this would have made a great Point of View submission, but oh wait. . .the HDR thing.
I discovered that you can open a RAW file in your HDR software and tonemap a single image, but it only works with RAW photos. But it really makes a huge difference and gives you HDR results that you can't get by just basic editing techniques. And it's legal in basic editing. Might see if you have any more of these awesome shots and try it. I sure would vote this one high.
