Week 04by KenComment by Melethia: Love the way the fisheye takes a very small scene and makes it huge! Also like the way her face is reflecting the blue tones of the monitor's glow. |

Week 04by KenComment by PGerst: Good edit. This definately adds another dimension (depth) to the original. |

Week 04by KenComment by Charlene: I love the look on her face, she's so pretty and focused. (gotta check the game out at home, work won't let me access it, and I think my girls would love it!) |

Week 04by KenComment by GeneralE: I know a place which looks a bit like this ... an expression of the age-old conflict between civilization and the jungle -- perhaps what archeologists of the future will be excavating.
Post-processing really makes the plant colors pop, and brings out the varying textures.
Here's an old one of mine (not in this side challenge, though maybe it should be!) with a somewhat similar theme. |

Week 04by KenComment by Kelli: Wonderful texture in the edit. Lovely sense of decay/deterioration in the overall shot. |

Week 04by KenComment by kellymk: Interesting subject matter, and like the image on the screen and the blue tones repeated, but fish eye isn't my favourite. |

Week 04by KenComment by shalrath: I might have backed in or out a little to test the other compositions for this shot, fisheyes sure are hard. This is cool though, and I'm off to test Crayon Physics :P. |

Week 03 by KenComment by GeneralE: Nice example of what I'd call an "architectural abstract" -- love the repeating blocks of repeating patterns.
I also noticed the "halos" of light around the roof -- was it foggy? If you look at it with the right (mental) perspective, it makes it look like a model in a darkened room, with some for the light leaking out to illuminate the ceiling. :-) Message edited by author 2009-01-28 15:15:36. |

Whatever 18by KenComment by CNovack: Finally getting around to finishing comments for the Dec. Side Challenge:-)
Wow, this is fabulous! Love the rich red color of the star that visually pops off of the white frost. I also find the frost patterns very visually appealing. Nice crisp colors draws the eye in and the sharp focused details are the cherry on the top. Shame that the Star Challenge dates were not timed for this one for this would have easily earned a top 10 spot. |
