I love the light on this! The contrast is so pretty that the flowers over the dark part seem to float and be in the air. What a cool effect!

I just love walking around cemeteries and imagine the stories in the lives represented there. Sometimes you can tell so much by graves and their stones.

THis one is really nice Kat. I like the simplisity of the shot, the DOF and the lines of the cattails all pointing up toward the subject, very dynamically placed. I also like the background trasnition (darker area down to lighter area) occurring 1/3 down and complimenting the placement of the bird. ONly wish is that it was a tad sharper, you dont have the metadata but I'm wondering if you shot this pretty wide open may have affected your clarity a bit. Only one nit-pick, the small reed on the bottom L corner just sticking into the picture. Great shot overall though.
