'2' or '3', likely - without a title here (although you have one in the thread) makes it more difficult, but most importantly, what is on the spray can is not easily recognizable as 'not deodorant', in my opinion. Other factors in the photo as well, make this have a 'raw' type feel, which detracts, in my opinion.

You found a good pun, illustrated it well and were nicely rewarded by our voters (including me).

Your commentors mentioned the blue surface. I tend to agree; this image could also have done really well in black and white. That might have evened out the shadows as well.

Then, this image seems to be just a bit soft-focus. You might consider what impact your image would have if those grains of salt, and the printing on the barrel of the weapon were tack sharp.

Still, all in all, a good entry and one the voters liked.

I know sprunch spray well. Put it on wet here, scrunch (or sprunch) your hair and let it dry naturally. I used it through the 80's and early 90's. HA HA HA HA HA

The only issue here is that I don't know what "spruce spray" is, and wouldn't have gotten the picture without the title. That would have gotten it a 7.

The lighting is really pretty well done, as the hair on the arm stands out and really defines his boundaris against a similar colored background. That might have moved it to an 8.

For a "last minute entry", this really isn't too bad.

Good pun! I like the squared-of approach in this picture, very graphic in a way, all these straight lines and rectangles except for the little triangle of salt. Cool.

I alternate between wishing this were technically more exalted and admiring it for its deadpan, no-drills approach. Admirtation is winning out; bumpety bump :-)
