The composition is great. However, I think that you have the following issues:
*a slight lack of contrast
*blown sky
*an aliasing/resampling issue causing some color artifacts on the walkway.

A ten from me (voted earlier, now back to comment). This is like some old sci fi movie. I like the pastels and the straight line going straight through the photo... taking over... but still we can see through it... layers. Very cool.
