Night-traffic.jpgby MiykaelComment by Grigolly: Only thing I can sujjest is retaking this shot. but this time try to get there a bit earlier, before it goes all dark. You can even mount ND filter. (sorry for my english:D) |

Night-traffic.jpgby MiykaelComment by SDW: I think it looks good. As stated by others it does look a little soft but that maybe due to the f20. Some sharpening should do wonders. I love the curves and lines. Great Job!

Night-traffic.jpgby MiykaelComment by Beetle: Very nice - I like the way that wavy diagonal leads me through the photo. Perhaps it could with a touch more sharpening? |

DSC_0102.gifby MiykaelComment by SJCarter: Lighting needs a little work here. Beautifully composed shot, but you've got some hot spots in the water - especially at the bottom pool. Also, the lighting at the top is almost too dark and at the bottom is too bright. Mid-day or afternoon sun? I've had my best luck shooting waterfalls (granted I'm using a P&S) at about 7pm. The tripod will definitely help with the sharpness too. Still, a very beautiful image. |

DSC_0041.gifby MiykaelComment by SJCarter: Really beautiful composition. The shot is quite good - I think one of your best posted thusfar. It's a tad bright in spots - the highlights are almost blown out (but not quite). I think you could increase the contrast and sharpness a bit - perhaps run it through Neat Image. Really nice shot. |

DSC_0095.gifby MiykaelComment by SJCarter: Great capture, but IMHO the background really interferes with viewing the butterfly. Because the gravel (or whatever it is) is so busy and reflective, it makes it very difficult to focus just on the butterfly. I would suggest 1) much tighter crop, 2) selecting just the butterfly or just the background and increasing the contrast between the two (whether darkening the background or lightening it - either one). |

DSC_0008.jpgby MiykaelComment by SJCarter: Fantastic capture - would this have been on your car?!? ;-) The reflection and dark background are great. I agree, you should try a tighter crop - you might also try adjusting backlighting/contrast and/or burning the bright spots on the mantis to bring out more detail. Nice work. |

DSC_0008.jpgby MiykaelComment by Jinjit: I agree with Gene. This is a cool shot with great colors and very interesting subject.
A tighter crop however could add a lot to this pic, especially tighter crop on the right and bottom. The negative space on the left is great and I wouldn't touch it.
