I don't like the effect of the blown out whites. Doesn't do anything to the picture for me except lessen the range and hurt my eyes.

Not at all fond of the use of selective desat here, keep in mind that this is just my private and personal opinion. Would have liked this shot a whole lot better if it was in colour with the same muted colours as in the backround. Not trying to offend you, just figured I owed you an explanation why I gave it a relatively low score of 3.

composition is good, the selective desaturation works well, but I'd like to see the flowers with some color, they dont look good grey.
