Compositional elements are excellently controlled - you've made the square crop work well, which is not a straightforward thing. I like it. I'd perhaps have taken the contrast a bit further myself - to make more of the difference of those grey tones. |

Picasso Jr. (Picasso by Irving Penn)by gsalComment by Louis: Great image, added to my favourites long ago. A great tribute, but just a wonderful photograph, with perfect tone and contrasts, and great use of noise to give it a touch of authenticity. Beautiful. |

Paint It Black, Jackby gsalComment by ladyhawk22: The patterns in the paint give this photo some interest. For me, portraits are a little more effective when the subject/model is making eye contact with the camera/viewer--though I can see how that would be more difficult to do in this case. |
