What's the subject? The round hay bales? If yes, the subject is too small a part of your image to fit the challenge. Tempting to plug in those cool looking clouds and mountains isn't it? ;^)

This lad probably already has females of all ages dropping at his feet. I love the dramatic lighting. The warm lighting works far better for me than gold paint and I like how the light in the background balances the composition. Great shot!

It's a very beautiful portrait. A shot I would be proud of. I am not too sure about the crop here and I have no idea how it was framed or cropped, but I do know that it was cropped for some reason.

I also believe that someone who can produce this portrait would have made a good judgement seeing it from a different point of view.

So whatever it is, I think it's one of the best images in the challenge.

** I have been observing the image while I was wring the comment, and the crop doesn't bother me that much anymore. I think I am seeing what you wanted me to see.
