I really like the shot too, two suggestions - one the skin tones are a bit flat, and two the teeth could be a bit whiter. I really like the pose though and most importantly you caugt her spirit. Great shot.

So it was you!
I did look at the this image many times during the challenge and liked it a lot. But there was something that I wished wasn't there, and yeah, I do know that it's life and how things happen and it's something you didn't set-up. I wished that the family in the background was a bit blurred. I do see what else is going in the frame, including the boy and what he's doing, but I wished that girl at the front was the main focus and the rest was what you observed later. It does work that way even now, but very soon, my focus also goes to the background and the family. I don't think they play an important role in the shot.
So, instead of a 10, you got a 9 from me.
