Brokenby MalokataComment by Amiee: Really good image. The black and white colors really help alot to get the feeling of isolation across. There is also nothing in the background except the color of white which sort of plays off that his life may be heading no where or in the wrong direction. Very powerful image. |

Castle in the Snowby MalokataComment by FranziskaLang: This looks like a really cool place to take photos, bet you took many more than just this one :) You've met the challenge with it, too. I can see this being used in a travel-kind of article. I really have no constructive criticism to offer, except maybe use a different border, the color of this one doesn't really match anything of the photo. I do like how you got your snow white with only very little blowout, and you kept the detail in the dark walls. You made the photo look 3D by having the snow-covered rocks in the foreground. I'll be curious to see next week where this was taken. |

Castle in the Snowby MalokataComment by Konador: I like the composition, looks very good. I'm wondering if this might work better in sepia or black and white though... |

Brokenby MalokataComment by mariomel: Very nice composition. Good portrayal of despair. The focus is a little too soft (IMO) but works for the theme. The contrast is too high (IMO) as the snow from the bench just blends into the background snow. Nonetheless, good job. |

Brokenby MalokataComment by jerrft: Well composed and cropped. I bet he had a cold butt from sitting in the snow. |

Brokenby MalokataComment by jodiecoston: This is a very striking image. I really like your composition and the high contrast. It adds a lot of drama. I also like how the gentleman is leaning out of where he is framed in the photograph - I think that helps add to the "despair" theme. |
