National Past Timeby yankoComment by carpents: I like the contrast. I don't like the words on the baseball - I would have liked it much more if it simply the old next to the new. The 'Major League Baseball' makes me think about all the overpaid, pretentious nitwits marring the sport. |

Barbary Sheep Portraitby yankoComment by Rikki: Wow! Good timing on this one! He almost looks like he's wondering what you were doing with that camera in front of him. A very inquisitive image! |

Jewel of the Pondby yankoComment by Rikki: Great use of selective desat here friend. The eye really is led throughout the entire image and rests on this beautiful pad ;) |

Jewel of the Pondby yankoComment by yanko: Originally posted by rscorp: I think it would look more stunning as a straight b&w without the selective desaturation. |
That's what I was thinking but when I converted this to b/w the focus shoots more towards the bright lilly pad on the right. Here's the b/w version:

Jewel of the Pondby yankoComment by dolphnz8: I think it's an awsome picture with great composition. Not too busy for my eyes at all. Excellent choice of green pigment. cindy |

Barbary Sheep Portraitby yankoComment by Jutilda: Excellent. I love the post editing filter. The detail of the eyes and the variation of the diff. lights to darks in his fur (hide) is great. I like the wispy shaggy part of his neck! |
