the migration of lovebirdsby yankoComment by shamer: fascinating scene - feels a little over-lit, with too much white (given the mood) - make sit feel too posed, IMHO. But maybe that contrast was your intention... I really like the choice in models here - they're expressions are spot on - as is the wardrobe & make-up... -- 8 -- |

the migration of lovebirdsby yankoComment by TrollMan: Wow! I love this set-up and composition. The way both models are dressed is very appropriate for the shot. Him thinking and while fixated on her and her looking away with an excellent expression is just awesome. I love it!
The painting in the background makes it all come together. Without a doubt: 10! |

l'artiste dans l'espritby yankoComment by stevieian: LOVE this --- the processing, the detail, the colors, the composition, his outfit, the tree in the background. One of my absolute favs in the FS. IMO just lose the border and a tad more below his right foot. 9 |

l'artiste dans l'espritby yankoComment by mitalapo: The composition, pose, dressing, background but mainly the light give this image the look and feel of a 17th century Netherlands painting (and I don't mind much the band on the left, though I think I could do without it). Very beautiful indeed.

the migration of lovebirdsby yankoComment by Skip: this type of image baffles/intrigues me. it is very clever and well done. but it is almost too technically perfect not to have been set up. (i personally prefer the pursuit of the imperfect image, where the photographer has control over nothing more than the camera.) |

the migration of lovebirdsby yankoComment by posthumous: I know this is supposed to be too slick for my taste, but I love this. It's almost campy in its sharp perfection, and the integration of the artwork into her thoughts and dreams is very nicely done. |

mirror mirrorby yankoComment by see: First we have a hidden face, but it̢۪s not really hidden because it̢۪s shown on the upper right. What is that the girl is hidden behind, a mirror, or maybe glass that shows how she may look in the future?
All this overlooked by someone̢۪s idea of the perfect face.. |
