_MG_1068.jpgby jan_vdwComment by Jessi: Great colors, love the bright vivid green. I don't know if you need a specific aspect ratio but I would certainly crop closer to the players...noise doesn't look so bad, I'm actually rather jealous (I have to shoot ISO1600 on my little Rebel, lol!). |

_MG_1500.jpgby jan_vdwComment by MattO: This is much better composition and positioning on the field. However I wish it were a bit tighter, need to get you a 300 or 400mm lens! My eyes keep searching for the ball?(is that what they use?) as I feel just slightly ahead of this capture is where the peak of that part of this play occurred. |

_MG_1500.jpgby jan_vdwComment by bobonacus: Great you can see their faces in this and the colour of their kit helps them stand out.
Maybe a wider aperture of f/4 (with the 1.4x) would have helped make them stand out even more by reducing the dof. It would be nice if you could have got in a little tighter (assuming you were not already at full zoom!) |

_MG_1068.jpgby jan_vdwComment by bobonacus: As others have said would be nice to see the faces, however I like the fact you've captured the stumps flying and the players stand out well :)
If you cropped this as well the noise will look more than it is, you could use the magnetic selection tool, select the two players, invert the selection and then run some noise reduction on the rest as that doesn't matter if it gets a bit softer and noise seems to be worse in the bokeh |

_MG_1068.jpgby jan_vdwComment by MattO: This is one game I have never understood. Of course I dont think its played much in these parts, so whats happening in the frame I cant comment on. What I can say is I cant see any face or emotion in the shot. I'd suggest a different vantage point to see a face. I had a 40D for a few weeks and while its no 1 series the noise was better then I expected. Of course properly exposed my 20D and 30D were both very usable at 1600ISO.

_MG_1068.jpgby jan_vdwComment by Maggye: The colors and clarity on this one are really good. the only thing I would change is, if possible shooting from the other side, so you can get the faces and add some emotion to it. |

Day 11.jpgby jan_vdwComment by Mr_Pants: I like the way that this shot includes a collection of different views of the front of the lorry. |
