| Nice action. I don't see cricket very often. The distance make it less interesting. It's a nice suggestion to use a wider aperture. You'll get more concentration on the players. |

| This is much better composition and positioning on the field. However I wish it were a bit tighter, need to get you a 300 or 400mm lens! My eyes keep searching for the ball?(is that what they use?) as I feel just slightly ahead of this capture is where the peak of that part of this play occurred. |

Great you can see their faces in this and the colour of their kit helps them stand out.
Maybe a wider aperture of f/4 (with the 1.4x) would have helped make them stand out even more by reducing the dof. It would be nice if you could have got in a little tighter (assuming you were not already at full zoom!) |
