Candid Captureby CalamitysMaster00Comment by rjhawkin: Up close and personal. I may have tried to get a little wider shot on the head. Color, texture, and focus are all good, though a shallower DOF may have been nice. |

Triumph: Marrying my Soulmateby CalamitysMaster00Comment by JohnLampkin: Aw gee. Highlights on the diamonds would help immensely. Aren't they supposed to sparkle? Not a lot of thought in terms of preparing the composition or lighting here. Also, a ring on the finger would add a personal touch. |

Nicole by CalamitysMaster00Comment by violinist123: Very pretty shot. I agree with Jutilda and find that backing off the blur over the eyes adds just the right amount of pop to the portrait. Regardless, this looks great.
edit: but I suppose in a 'sharpless' challenge, whatever the hell sharpless is heh, the eyes must be blurry with the rest! ;) Message edited by author 2007-08-03 02:05:03. |

Nicole by CalamitysMaster00Comment by Jutilda: Pretty girls will do that with dads. Funny how soft focus works so well in some instances. My personal preference would be for her face to be a touch more in focus, but that's just me. She surely is pretty and her smile shines all the way through. |
