13by sevilduvarciComment by Blue Moon: love the idea and sharpness of this, but I have to say that I find the teeth to be very distracting. I think if the mouth were cropped out it might feel less disconnected. Just a thought...love the eye btw |

12by sevilduvarciComment by posthumous: stunning. for some reason the child above her seems like a memory, and the rectangles behind her head seem like gravestones. I also enjoy letting my mind complete the BROOKLYN. It makes me think that I can complete the rest of the picture as well, which is currently obscured by a child's dark imaginings... or rather some dark place she goes sans imagination, some place of complete attention to mystery. |

And the low key look is something very nice and a little unexpected for a playground photo of a child. It gives a seriousness to the photo. I like that you can see the hint of another child in the background.
I agree: a very strong photo.
