Definitely a nice capture with all 3 of your lighting shots that you have posted. Living in SF, CA I don't ever get a chance to take lighting shots b/c we don't really ever have any thunderstorms here. Much like some of the others have already said, you might want to continue to seek different locations to take more lighting shots in the future since the house and tree distract a little from this shot. If you have this shot with some mountains in the background or something, it would be really nice.

Outstanding shot! And in spite of what lissylou says, I think a person's head in the pic would actually add great interest to the shot - particularly if it were at the point of impact. :)

Great capture of lightning for your first time! I miss the great Tucson light shows. Next time head up to the mountains, I bet you'd get some awesome shots from the road up to Mt. Lemmon. :-)

Nice choice for B&W. The title works well also. I think if you played with the contrast a little it would give it more tone. How it is though is a print worthy image.

Nice image here, I like the concept behind it a lot, perhaps its a bit over exposed, but that may just be my monitor, one thing I would change though would be to clone out in PS the ... ??? ..... furniture??? on the bottom right of the image, should be an easy clone job and I think it would help keep the viewers eye towards the focus of the image. JMHO.
