Espressoby LedZeppelin588Comment by coley3: (Lavazza! My favorite coffee..I'm drinking it now as a matter of fact.) Nice picture. Would have worked for either this challenge or the coffee house one.. I'm a huge fan of minimal DOF but here I would have like to see the whole front mug in focus. |

Commercialby LedZeppelin588Comment by SJCarter: I remember this well from the challenge - I gave it a 6. I think the score probably suffered because of the harsh lighting and the lack of "obvious" relation to the tools topic (but I thought it fit the challenge very well). Really nice detail & DOF (except on the guy moving). I also like the B/W choice. Nice work. |

Commercialby LedZeppelin588Comment by scsher29: I have no business critiquing anyone, but I will try to help through what I believe the majority saw. The lights are a little distracting (harsh glare). The challenge was "tools of the trade" and voters probably didn't know exactly how this fit. I understand now that I see your description, but at face value, most probably didn't see a connection. I think it was very original. I tend to like these type of photos better because they make you see things differently. Good job. |

Coneflowerby LedZeppelin588Comment by LalliSig: Not bad at all but it´s slightly underexposed and that causes it to be a bit flat and makes the colours a bit dull. If I may suggest on how to improve this it would be to expose about 1/2 to a full stop more and correct the WB to a warmer colour and I bet you would like the outcome more. |
