Excellent idea. I think I would have preferred a slightly lighter color on the shirts though, like the girls pants, to give everyone a bit of shape.

nice portrait but don't like the frame and the background is crooked. The white water in the background is kind of distracting too.

It is a fantastic family photo type shot. I do feel though that the picture is a little to heavily weighted to the left with the larger subjects all on that side. I think a little more even spacing of the heights (maybe move one or both of the children on the left to the right and vice-versa) would have helped balance the composition more. 7.
