The explanation that you have given us on this photo helps all of us that are not up to your standard understand that getting it right first time in photography, like life, rarely happens, but this should not make us give up but encourage us to strive harder. Very beautiful image, and impressive waterfall. The person adds a point of interest and gives perspective to the size of the fall. The centered subject really works here and I like the narrow crop.

Such a perfect summertime moment captured here. I love the scenic background but think it would have more impact if the child was a little bit closer to the viewer (bigger in the photo somehow). 9
