I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I like the way this is all about contrasts; contrasts of colour and texture and orientation and even in the way the eyes moves -into the picture with the red and upward with the green. You have made exactly the right choice with your DOF too.

Critical stuff: The limited number of elements might not appeal to everyone.

Overall: Well seen and well executed.
