I think biteme was right that B&W with dodging and burning would look awesome!..also maybe crop out a little bit of the left side and clone out the people in the background? Nice photo :) |

moodswingby ErinMComment by hanneke: this is probably a very emotive photo for you, reading your info about it. this photo tells a story. ofcourse, I couldn't make out of it the exact story, but there is something in it, and I think that makes this photo pretty strong.
did you try B&W? I think that'll suit the story even more, don't know why. |

regardby ErinMComment by ErinM: Thanks for the comments! I hadn't noticed my dodging slip up around the right eye and I appreciate that being pointed out. I've fixed it and reposted a new picture. And no, she wasn't saluting. She was gazing straight ahead with her elbow resting on the arm of a chair when I called her name and clicked as she turned her head. The look that I caught turned into a sneer a split second later when she realized I was taking yet another picture of her. She says she hates having her picture taken, but I think she secretly likes it. |
