angst_b&wby ErinMComment by gsal: Great black and white study. Beautiful lighting and her eyes, even when she´s moody, are shining bright! |

glareby ErinMComment by bucket: great DOF, strong positioning compositionally...I wish you could have caught a moment before or after this one..where she either breaks into a smile or gets fed up with you...I can see that look my kids give me..ok I will pose...your kids certainly are photogenic! |

tree-anglesby ErinMComment by liltritter: Of the tree pictures this one is by far my favorite. The clarity of the subject is awsome. The contrast between the boy and the green leaves really makes it nice. Well done |

tree-anglesby ErinMComment by posthumous: great portrait. backlighting works well on your subject. His face is the focal point and his body looks like just more branches framing his face. |

danielby ErinMComment by Louis: Fantastic, excellent use of depth of field. The wall disappearing into the out of focus area and the shapes that creates is very cool. The focus on Daniel and sharpness at his eyes, plus the softer focus going back, is top-notch. Really well done. |

moodswingby ErinMComment by ErinM: Hi Shannon- I don't mind at all that you fiddled around a bit with my shot. Thanks for taking the time with it and for your nice comments. I had actually reworked the image myself in black and white with some additional cloning to portions of the top, but never reposted the new version. While I think that a b&w conversion improves the image in some ways, I also find that I miss the earthier tones of the original color version. I see where you were going with the tighter crop too. Although I think that the crop to the top doesn't leave quite as much head room as is needed, it does serve to isolate the major elements and eliminates some of what could be considered a distraction from the simplicity of the shot. Thanks again for the attention that you gave to the photo! You're a sweetie!
