The highlights are really harsh and the shot has a green tinge to it, if you had maybe used fill flash to balance the highlights and light the carvings more evenly this would have scored a bit higher. Great idea

returning to comment: please dont take offense to this as my only intention is to help( read my profile for additional info): for me this photo would be alot better if the cat was in sharp focus rather than the tree branches. if you are using photoshop 7( which is what i use) this is how i would adjust it. slight boost of contrast then i would slightly boost color saturations(master) then go to selective color and in the lue setting i would boost the cyan levels. red i would boost the magenta and yellow levels. this is just my best guess to get the most out of this photo. i hope i have helped you as that is my only intention. I do love the composistion of this photo.good luck and i hope to see you at the top soon.
