You Missed A Spotby meowComment by Siggav: Funny concept and a clever idea. I think the really shallow dof you usually get with macro shots rather hurts it though. It would be outstanding with more of the flower and at least all of the centre flower pin sharp. |

Feel the Heatby meowComment by mikeee: I like the heat in the top right hand corner. The ambient light is a little bright to bring out the deep reds in the log and a later shot might have helped that, but also might have ruined it too. |

Seems a little flat. Could probably benefit from some curves or contrast tweaks. The border does not come off to me well, either, I'm afraid. I can tell you tried to do an image that floats above the frame, picking up from the color of the deer. The brown is so dark, though, that the impression is that of a dull black. |
